Whether you purchase a charger from us or another supplier, we handle the installation for you so that fitting your charge point is an easy process.

The Installation process

Step 1

Upon contacting our team and ordering your charger, we will contact you for a time/day that suits you, and get one of our installation team to visit.

Step 2

We will install the charger to your wall and then run the cable to your electric meter. This should be no more than 10m.

Step 3

We will run your cable and ensure it’s either chased into your wall or use trunking to give it a tidy finish.

Step 4

Your charge is then installed and we will register your charger for your guarantee and warranty.

Examples of increases in the cost of your EV charge point installation?

There are a number of factors that can increase the cost of your installation:

Earthing – some charge points and properties may require an earth rod installed.
Groundworks – We may have to chase some cable into the ground to run the cable through your driveway etc, this will be quoted upon site visit.
Added cabling – 10 metres is included as standard but we may need to extend the cable at an added cost.
Two-way distribution board – this may be required if your present fusebox does not have any suitable spare “ways”.
